Julian Edelman might be on the verge of adding another great honor to his lengthy list of NFL accolades.
Edelman on Thursday was officially named one of the nominations for the 2025 induction into the Patriots Hall of Fame. It was a deserving nod for the legendary wide receiver, who played his entire 12-year career in New England and helped the franchise win three Super Bowls.
The Super Bowl LIII MVP was featured on a finalists list alongside fellow Patriots greats Adam Vinatieri and Logan Mankins. The fellow nominees were the focus of Edelman’s social media post when he reacted to Thursday’s announcement.
“In great company,” Edelman posted to his X account and Instagram story.
No disrespect to Vinatieri or Mankins, but Edelman arguably deserves enshrinement the most out of this year’s group of finalists. As one of Tom Brady’s most sure-handed targets, Edelman was one of the most central figures of Phase 2 of the Patriots’ dynasty and had a knack for playing his best when the games mattered the most.

Fans who believe Edelman should receive the red jacket can vote for him on the team’s official website throughout April. The next Patriots Hall of Famer will be announced in early May.
