If Jose Mourinho had any less to say, we’d have to call him “the Silent One.”
Mourinho repeatedly said “nothing” in response to a BT Sport reporter’s questions Saturday in his postgame interview following Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool. Mourinho declined to comment on major incidents in the game or his future as Chelsea’s manager.

Mourinho is under intense pressure, and some reports claim Chelsea is considering relieving him of his duties. Mourinho led Chelsea to a third-place finish in 2013-14, then the Premier League title last season, but “disaster” is an apt description for the self-styled “Special One’s” third season in his second coming as manager.

Mourinho later spoke at length during his press conference with television networks. He was spiky and combative, perhaps to ease the pressure on his players.

We’ll have to wait and see what Chelsea and Mourinho do to stop its slump. “Nothing” isn’t an option.
