About:
NESN is partnering with the Boys and Girls Club Yawkey Club of Boston and the Make An Impact Foundation to build a playground at the Boys and Girls Club location in Roxbury, MA. NESN employees will work with the children at the Boys & Girls Club to identify what they want to see in a playground with the goal of ultimately building the playground in the Fall of 2023.
Play is so important to us at NESN, the broadcast home of the Red Sox and Bruins. Play is proven to improve cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of children and young people and helps them learn about the world and themselves. It builds some of life’s most important skills – including confidence and what it takes to be a good teammate.
