The Trojans are 17-point favorites against the Eagles for Saturday, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com, and they head into the matchup riding high after following up their season-opening 52-13 win over Fresno State with a big 13-10 win on the road at Stanford last week. That bumped USC up to No. 9 in the updated AP Top 25 poll.
Boston College beat Massachusetts 30-7 in its opener two weeks ago but fell 30-20 at home against Pitt last week, with quarterback Tyler Murphy throwing for just 134 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the loss. Murphy also ran for 92 yards and a score in the Eagles’ loss to the Panthers.
When USC and Boston College met out west last September, the Trojans came away with an easy 35-7 win as 15.5-point favorites on the college football betting board in a game that went over the posted total. Kickoff for Saturday’s USC vs. Boston College matchup is set for 8 p.m. ET.
Meanwhile, the only game featuring two ranked teams on Saturday has No. 24 South Carolina playing host to No. 6 Georgia with the Gamecocks as 6.5-point home underdogs for the game, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. South Carolina lost to Texas A&M in its opener and fell 41-30 at Georgia when the schools met last year in a game in which the Bulldogs covered the 3.5-point spread.
No. 12 UCLA plays at AT&T Stadium in Arlington against Texas on Saturday as a 7.5-point favorite, while No. 11 Notre Dame takes on Purdue at Lucas Oil Stadium as a 28-point favorite. Texas A&M, up to No. 7 in the rankings, will be looking to keep their offense rolling on Saturday as the Aggies take on Rice as a huge 31.5-point favorite at Kyle Field.
No. 1 Florida State is idle this week. No. 2 Oregon will get a visit from Wyoming at Autzen Stadium with the Ducks set as massive 43-point favorites on the college football odds.
