“Thursday Night Football” is in the books, and it’s time to direct your fantasy efforts toward Sunday’s slate.
There are plenty of intriguing matchups in Week 10, as well as a handful of under-the-radar players who could make some noise in the fantasy arena. Here are the best last-minute waiver wire adds at each position heading into Sunday.
Quarterback: Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings
Bridgewater has passed the early stages of the concussion protocol and looks on track to play Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
The second-year QB hasn’t been spectacular this season, but the Raiders have been awful against the pass, allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in standard-scoring leagues. If you play in a two-QB league and need a solid QB2, Bridgewater is a pretty safe bet.
Other quarterbacks to add: Landry Jones, Kirk Cousins, Josh McCown
Running Back: Charles Sims, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Doug Martin flatlined last Sunday with just 31 rushing yards on 11 carries, while Sims put up 78 yards on eight carries. Martin still is Tampa Bay’s No. 1 back, but given his shaky history, it might be a good idea to scoop Sims off the waiver wire.
The Buccaneers also have a great matchup Sunday against a Dallas Cowboys team that’s been torched by the run this season and could be without linebacker Sean Lee.
Other running backs to add: James Starks, Brandon Bolden, Theo Riddick
Wide Receiver: Cole Beasley, Dallas Cowboys
No, we’re not expecting Beasley to repeat his monster nine-catch, 112-yard performance from Week 9.
But the Cowboys slot receiver’s increase in targets still is a good sign, and Tony Romo’s imminent return only should boost his value. If you’re in a deeper PPR league, Beasley could be a nice pickup as you gear up for the stretch run.
Other wide receivers to add: Dorial Green-Beckham, Corey Brown, Kamar Aiken
Tight End: Eric Ebron, Detroit Lions
Ebron should be available in most leagues with the Lions coming off a bye week. He was pretty underwhelming in Week 8, but Detroit gets a Green Bay Packers team in Week 10 that’s allowed opposing tight ends to score in two of its last three games.
If you’re in a deeper league, Ebron is a good guy to have on your roster down the stretch, and now is the time to grab him.
Other tight ends to add: Richard Rodgers
