All right, Fantasy Football owners. It’s winning time.
As players get injured and others start resting, your championship likely will be won on the back of some strong roster management over the season’s final month.
Here are a few of our Week 14 waiver wire suggestions.
Quarterback: Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills
For all the trouble Rex Ryan has had reaching his new defense, it appears Taylor has bought in. The 26-year-old has moxy, which doesn’t give you a point bonus but might lead to some terrific extended plays that do. Taylor has put up back-to-back terrific games in which he’s scored seven total touchdowns to just one turnover. He seems to be finally healthy. Take advantage of that.
Other quarterbacks to add: Marcus Mariota, Brock Osweiler
Running Back: Darren Sproles, Philadelphia Eagles
Dead in the water before Week 13’s upset win over the New England Patriots, it appears the Eagles felt that warm flame under their collective bottoms. DeMarco Murray just isn’t a good fit in the Philly offense, and coach Chip Kelly seemed to realize it Sunday with just eight touches for the team’s prized free agent. Sproles and backup Kenjon Barner saw the majority of snaps in a revitalized offense.
Other running backs to add: James White, Mike Gillislee, Bilal Powell
Wide Receiver: DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins
Back-to-back games with touchdowns has made Parker more than a blip on the radar. He could thrive as long as Rishard Matthews and Kenny Stills remain on the injury report.
Other receivers to add: Ted Ginn Jr., Malcom Floyd, Javontee Henderson
Tight End: Will Tye, New York Giants
This is for the truly desperate, but Tye has put up double-digit points in three consecutive weeks (PPR scoring). He seems to be slowly gaining QB Eli Manning’s trust and at 6-foot-3 is a decent-sized red zone target.
Other tight ends to add: Richard Rodgers, Zach Ertz, Ladarius Green
