FanDuel Week 6 Lineup: Best Player Picks In DFS Fantasy Football

Week 6 of the NFL season starts Thursday night with an AFC West matchup between the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers.

Check out our Week 6 FanDuel lineup below before you make your weekly player picks.

Quarterback: Tom Brady, New England Patriots ($9,000)
Brady destroyed the Cleveland Browns last week with 406 passing yards and three touchdowns. He showed no rust in returning from a four-game suspension and he has another good matchup in Week 6 against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that two Dallas Cowboys rookies demolished in Week 5.

Running Backs: Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams ($7,900); LeGarrette Blount, New England Patriots ($7,000)
Gurley’s breakout game of the season could come in Week 6 against a Detroit Lions defense allowing 4.9 yards per carry, the second-highest in the league.

Blount should be able to find success against a Bengals defense that gave up 134 yards and two touchdowns to a rookie last week and also is allowing 4.4 yards per carry on the season.

Wide Receivers: Cole Beasley, Dallas Cowboys ($4,900); Michael Crabtree, Oakland Raiders ($7,000); Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints ($5,400)
Beasley is a decent value play this week. He has tallied at least four receptions in four of five games, in addition to 50-plus receiving yards in all five games.

Crabtree has five touchdowns, four of which have come in the last two games. He’s Raiders quarterback Derek Carr’s go-to red zone target, while also averaging 71.6 receiving yards per contest.

Thomas’ chemistry with Saints quarterback Drew Brees is improving, evidenced by his 20 targets over the last two weeks. He also has a touchdown in each of his last two contests.

Tight End: Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers ($8,100)
Olsen is averaging more than 10 targets and 100 receiving yards per game. He doesn’t need Cam Newton to start at quarterback to be fantasy-relevant.

Kicker: Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons ($4,600)
Bryant is averaging the fourth-most FanDuel fantasy points per game, and he might attempt more field goals than normal, with the Falcons going up against a stingy Seattle Seahawks defense on the road.

Defense: New England Patriots ($4,700)
The Patriots are playing the sixth-lowest scoring offense in the Cincinnati Bengals and they’ve forced eight turnovers through five games.
