DraftKings Week 14 Lineup: Best Player Picks In DFS Fantasy Football

If you’re in a season-long fantasy football league and didn’t make your playoffs, we’re sorry. Perhaps this will help. We also have good news: Daily fantasy still is alive and well, and Week 14 offers another opportunity for you to get in the game.

Here are our DraftKings picks for Week 14.

Quarterback: Kirk Cousins, Washington Redskins ($6,300)
The NFL’s third-leading passer faces a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has given up 645 passing yards over the last two weeks and has allowed 20-plus fantasy points (standard scoring) to opposing quarterbacks in five of its last six games. We like that.

Running Backs: DeMarco Murray, Tennessee Titans ($7,000); Matt Forte, New York Jets ($6,800)
The Denver Broncos are a nightmare for quarterbacks but a dream for running backs, giving up 122.8 yards per game on the ground. That bodes well for Murray, who is fresh off a bye and could have plenty of touches in potentially rainy conditions.

The only explanation needed for Forte: He’s playing the San Francisco 49ers, who have allowed nine 100-yard rushers in 12 games. With the inexperienced Bryce Petty starting at QB for New York, Forte should shoulder a monster workload.

Wide Receivers: Golden Tate, Detroit Lions ($6,600), Jamison Crowder, Redskins ($5,600); Taylor Gabriel, Atlanta Falcons ($4,300)
Tate has seen, ahem, a lion’s share of Detroit’s targets lately, as Marvin Jones’ production has tapered off. A home matchup against the Chicago Bears, who have allowed three touchdowns to receivers in the last four weeks, indicates another big game for Tate.

Crowder also is a volume machine, with 18 targets in his last two games. He has found the end zone in four of his last five contests, as well, making him a solid stack play with Cousins against Philly.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

Julio Jones is battling turf toe, and even if he can play Sunday, he might be limited. That means more targets for the Falcons’ new weapon, Gabriel, against a Los Angeles Rams defense that has allowed nearly 600 passing yards in the last two weeks.

Tight End: Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($4,100)
Brate has established a significant role in Tampa Bay’s offense, and a home date with the New Orleans Saints’ 31st-ranked passing defense is too good to pass up.

Flex: Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati Bengals ($5,800)
Hill’s best game of the season, a 168-yard outburst in Week 7, came against the Cleveland Browns. That’s whom he’ll face Sunday with snow in the forecast, which could create more opportunities in the run game.

Defense: Bengals ($3,500)
At this point, your best bet every week is to start whatever defense is playing the Browns.
