Joe Colborne, Tyler Seguin Waste No Time Getting Involved in Boston Community Each day this week, NESN.com will share Joe Colborne's firsthand
experience from development camp. On Monday, Colborne discussed "The Program," which helped
develop camaraderie and, of course, fitness.

Below is his story from Day 4.

Day 4 — Skate with the Kids

This day was very similar in schedule to the previous day, with an early ice-time followed by a workout. However, instead of some power skating, we worked on individual skills when we split up between forwards and defensemen. Scrimmage was again the highlight of the ice time, and my team ended up winning, just in case you were wondering.

After our time at the rink, we split up into some groups to go to different community events. Steve Kampfer, Tyler Seguin, Tommy Cross, David Warsofsky and I went to skate with some young kids, and I think we ended up having more fun than any of the kids.

Tyler finally got a little bit of media attention for the first time in his life here and it was a great time for all. We got to sign some autographs for the kids after and Ty and I took some pictures after the ice time, too. Overall, it was a great day and we all met back up at the hotel for dinner and watched some movies in our rooms.
