Shaquille O'Neal's 'Cheers' Freestyle Rap Will Only Get Better in Boston In 2006, Shaquille O’Neal used arguably the most recognizable theme song in the history of television to diss Vlade Divac and the Sacramento Kings.

Using the Cheers theme song as his beat, Shaq torched Divac and the “Queens” (as he called them during their feuding days), from the back of the Lakers bus.

One has to wonder if Shaq has ever been to the Cheers restaurant and pub, and if he ever goes as a Boston resident, will it inspire him to record a Lamar Odom/Lakers-dissing freestyle?

Check out the video below to watch the magic unfold.

NESN.com will showcase one Moment of Shaq every day until the Celtics open the season against the Heat on Oct. 26 at the TD Garden.
