Steven Seagal Offers Lyoto Machida Training As UFC 123 Bout With Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson Nears Steven Seagal has taken his talents to the octagon.

The next thing you know, Bill Pullman will be running for President of the United States of America — ater all, his character Thomas J. Whitmore was arguably the most courageous Commander-in-Chief this country (and world) has ever seen in Independence Day.

Seagal, the silver screen’s most famous pony-tailed badass, has been training MMA fighter Lyoto Machida for the fighter’s upcoming bout with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson on Saturday night at UFC 123 in Michigan.

The 58-year-old actor doesn’t just play a tough guy on film. Seagal’s a seventh-dan black belt and Shihan in aikido. He also trained fighter Anderson Silva before the fighter’s win over Chael Sonnen at UFC 117.

“This is a hat we found in Brad Marchand’s stall a week ago and I came in here after my interview on the bench and it was sitting in my stall. I have the honor and pleasure of wearing it here tonight after a hat trick. Everyone signed it too, even the trainers, so it’s special.”
Milan Lucic, referring to the stylish hat he was wearing during postgame interviews on Thursday night
