The hot stove continues to heat up in New England.

According to Yahoo's Tim Brown, the Red Sox will meet with agent Scott Boras on Thursday to discuss two of his high-profile free agents — Jayson Werth and Adrian Beltre.

Brown also reported on Wednesday afternoon that the Sox met with free agent outfielder Carl Crawford on Wednesday in Houston.

There have been talks throughout the offseason that the Red Sox are in the market for an outfielder. They're also looking to solidify the middle of their order, something Werth and Crawford could both do. Beltre, of course, spent the 2010 season with the Sox, resurrecting his career by hitting .321 with 28 home runs and 102 RBIs.
