Pittsburgh Hospital Wraps Newborns in 'Terrible Towels' A Pennsylvania hospital has proven that the Steelers have fans of all ages.

According to Yahoo’s Shutdown Corner, the hospital, located in Mt. Lebanon, Pa., is giving each newborn baby a brand-new Terrible Towel in celebration of the Steelers playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Sharon Johnson, a clinical supervisor at the hospital, said that the towel trend started in 2008, the last time the Steelers made it to the big game.

“They’re born Steelers fans here in Pittsburgh,” she said.

Many proud parents of the pint-sized Steelers fans emphasized the importance of the timing of the births.

“I kept telling [my girlfriend] during the AFC Championship game, ‘Don’t let your water break!'” new father Joe Laffey said. “It’s pretty awesome. I got a new baby and a new Terrible Towel. Couldn’t ask for anything more,” he added.

It has yet to be reported whether newborns in Wisconsin will get mini cheeseheads.
