Marc Savard's Future, Tim Thomas' Historic Pace Among Top 10 Storylines of Bruins' Second Half The Bruins had plenty to be happy about in the first 50 games of the season.

They went into the All-Star break in first place in the Northeast Division with the seventh-most points in the NHL. Goalie Tim Thomas is enjoying a historic year in goal, Patrice Bergeron and Milan Lucic have provided increased offensive production and rookies Brad Marchand and Steven Kampfer have exceeded all expectations to spark the club in the first four months of the season.

But now comes the real test. The Bruins began an arduous post-break schedule on Tuesday in Carolina. That was just the first of 32 games in the final 10 weeks before what the club hopes will be many more postseason games.
