What Do the Bruins Need to Do to Get on the Winning Track?This just in: Your defending Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins are struggling.

Only the Columbus Blue Jackets have fewer points (three) than the Black and Gold, who after Thursday night's 2-1 loss to the Canadiens, own just six points through nine games.

By comparison, through their first nine games last year, the B's had seven wins. Also, it's their lowest wins total through their first nine games since 2006, when they at least had an overtime loss mixed in.

Say all you want about a hangover or a short offseason but this team is simply not playing good hockey. Whether it's a trade or a benching that needs to be done to stir things up, there's a lot this team can do differently. Or is there?
