Justin Tuck, Giants Taking Well-Behaved Approach, Not Offering Up Any Trash Talk Ahead of Super Bowl XLVIThe Giants were relatively outspoken prior to their Super Bowl XLII upset of the Patriots. They're taking a much different approach this time around, though.

The usually expressive G-Men have ditched their trash-talking ways in favor of a more well-behaved manner in advance of Sunday's Super Bowl XLVI matchup with New England. Even when asked questions that would typically elicit candid responses, the Giants didn't take the bait, instead remaining focused on the task at hand.

In fact, some members of the New York media even tried to drum up controversy by insisting that Tom Brady guaranteed a victory at Sunday's Super Bowl send-off rally at Gillette Stadium. Of course, that was the New York media blowing everything out of proportion, and the Giants even realized that when asked about the "guarantee."

"It was a pep rally," Gians defensive end Justin Tuck said, according to the Boston Herald. "What was he supposed to say? I don't think it's Tom doing anything but getting fans riled up."

How about safety Antrel Rolle? Did he have anything inflammatory to say?

"There's no need for that," Rolle reportedly said. "We're here to play the game and it's not about toning anything down. It's just about knowing where you are in the situation and understanding what's at stake. Honestly, there's nothing to be said."

We've still got some time between now and Sunday, but it looks like all of this year's drama will take place on the field — where it belongs.
