Report: A.J. Burnett Vetoes Proposed Trade to Los Angeles Angels for Bobby AbreuA.J. Burnett won't be joining Albert Pujols and C.J. Wilson as another Los Angeles Angels offseason acquisition.

The Yankees pitcher has reportedly refused to waive his no-trade clause to be shipped out to L.A. in exchange for Bobby Abreu, according to the New York Post. As a result, the Yankees will turn their attention back to the Pittsburgh Pirates to work out a deal that seems more and more likely as spring training apprroaches.

Burnett reportedly has 10 teams he can refuse trades to, including the Angels and all the other West Coast teams.

The Yankees may also be talking to the Indians and an unknown fourth team for Burnett, according to the report. If no deal is struck, Burnett is due to report to Yankees spring training on Sunday.
