Sebastian Vollmer, Nate Solder Among Top 10 Right Tackles in Bleacher Report's NFL 1,000 ListThey don’t rack up insane numbers, and they won’t show up on highlight reels, but offensive linemen are among the most important positions in football.

A great offensive line is vital to the success of an offense. Right tackles are especially vital to the success of the run game, as most running plays go towards the strong side.

Bleacher Report is putting together a 20-part, 10-week series profiling the top 1,000 current NFL players. Week two breaks down the skill sets of the best 32 right tackles in the league.

Eric Winston of the Houston Texans tops the list of best right tackles. With elite size and agility, Winston was one of the best offensive lineman in the league last year.

The New England Patriots were well represented in the list, with two of their linemen cracking the top 10. Sebastian Vollmer came in at No. 5 on the list, grading high on most categories, but missed out on a higher ranking due to missing 10 games with an injury.

Nate Solder had a strong rookie season and was placed at No. 9 on the right tackle chart. Solder was praised for his size and pass blocking, but needs to improve his overall technique.

Tennessee’s David Stewart, Atlanta’s Tyson Clabo and Bryan Baluga of the Packers make up the rest of the top five.

The next installment with debut on March 5, focusing on centers.
