It's looking like that's a realistic possibility, as the Broncos are not only hosting Manning, but they're willing to do "whatever it takes" to land the four-time NFL MVP, according to The Denver Post.
In other words, money won't be an issue for the Broncos, and owner Pat Bowlen would reportedly like nothing more than to make Manning the team's next franchise quarterback.
However, it's not the money that's the intriguing storyline surrounding the 11-time Pro Bowler potentially landing in Denver. It's the idea of Manning replacing Tebow, who probably couldn't have garnered any more media attention last year if he tried.
Tebow led the Broncos to an AFC West title and a playoff victory — their first since 2005 — after taking over as the team's starting signal caller in 2011, but there's still some that question whether he has the makeup of a legitimate franchise quarterback from a talent standpoint.
"Not a bad season but not a great season, either," Bowlen reportedly said after the Broncos suffered a second-round blowout defeat at the hands of the Patriots. "I want a great season."
Perhaps Manning could be the one to provide such. "Whatever it takes" could be a lot, though, considering the interest that Manning is already drawing.
