Celtics No Strangers to Game 7 Showdowns During Big Three EraBOSTON — The Celtics find themselves in a familiar position entering Saturday night's Game 7 with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The C's are no strangers to winner-take-all showdowns, not only in their storied history but also as of late in the Big Three era. Saturday night's Eastern Conference semifinal finale will be the sixth Game 7 that Boston has played since 2007-08, the first season of the Big Three of Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett.

The Celtics bring a 3-2 record in deciding games into Saturday night's tilt at the Garden. However, the Celtics haven't won a Game 7 since 2009, when they got by the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs. Their last Game 7 came during the NBA Finals in 2010 when they lost to the Lakers.

Below is the Celtics' recent Game 7 history.

2008 First Round — Defeated Atlanta 99-65
2008 Conference Semifinals — Defeated Cleveland 97-92
2009 First Round — Defeated Chicago 109-99
2009 Conference Seminfials — Lost to Orlando 101-82
2010 NBA Finals — Lost to Los Angeles Lakers 83-79
