It's only been two months since the unfortunate death of Junior Seau, but someone is already paying tribute to the former Pro Bowl linebacker with a gigantic billboard. It's unclear, however, who that "someone" is.

The billboard sits along Interstate 5 in Oceanside, Calif., and features a photo of Seau with the words, "In Memoriam Junior Seau, Rest in Peace." It's massive and is sure to turn plenty of heads, but details about the billboard are limited at this point.

"We didn't even know that it was up," Seau's cousin Wayne Godinet told the North County Times. "From what I saw when I passed it the first time, boom, it just came right at me. It's larger than life."

Oceanside city manger Peter Weiss is stumped as well, although he thinks he has an idea as to why it was put up at this time.

"With the celebration of the Samoan Cultural Festival, it seems to make sense that someone put up a tribute to him," Weiss reportedly said.

In any event, it's a pretty cool sight and a tribute that's well deserved.
