Charlie Sheen Likes Cincinnati Reds' Winning Ways, Donates $50,000 to Team CharityReds broadcaster Marty Brennaman allowed his head to be shaved, as promised, after Cincinnati won its 10th game in a row last week.

Actor Charlie Sheen, a Reds fan and baseball cult hero, has seen that move and matched it — at least money-wise.

Sheen will donate $50,000 to the team’s Community Fund, equaling the amount Brennaman brought in after agreeing to have his head shaved publicly if fans could raise at least $20,000, which they quickly eclipsed.

“The city of Cincinnati has opened its arms to me so graciously, and I’m compelled to give something back,” Sheen said in a statement released by the Reds, according to The Associated Press.

Sheen was born in New York City but said he has rooted for Cincinnati since the days of the Big Red Machine in the 1970s.
