Before suiting up against the Padres on July 2, Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia took a little detour.
Pedroia stopped by Dana-Farber’s David B. Perini, Jr. Quality of Life Clinic, where he spent time hanging out, signing autographs and playing some Wii with a number of young Jimmy Fund patients.
“You have a responsibility to come here. All of our guys do,” Pedroia said. “All of us have a part in coming here and trying to see the kids and helping out any way we can.”
