Charitable Roger Clemens Offering One-Of-A-Kind Auction Item At Fenway Park

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute considers former Boston Red Sox pitcher Roger Clemens as one of its most charitable athletes.

His efforts and time that he sacrificed to help out children at the institute are still appreciated.

Clemens is back at again, and he’s offering a one-of-a-kind auction experience, all for charity. He’s giving a fan and 10 friends an opportunity to hit one-hour of batting practice at Fenway Park against Roger Clemens.

So how hard will the Rocket will throw to the winners?

“I am going to throw what I describe it as room service,” Clemens said.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
