If you’re anything like David Ortiz, watching the Kansas City Royals and New York Mets battle it out in the World Series has you amped for next season to begin.
Unlike you, however, Ortiz actually is in a position to do something about that excitement.
The regular season ended less than a month ago, but the Boston Red Sox slugger already is back in the gym. He tweeted a photo on Thursday of himself pumping iron in anticipation of getting back on the field — in about three months.
