Rousey vs. Holm Live Round-By-Round Commentary
Pre-Fight: Rousey and Holm have made their way to the ring and are moments away from their UFC women’s bantamweight championship bout.
Round 1: The champion got lit up in Round 1. Holm landed countless strikes to Rousey’s head, leaving the champion noticeably flustered and in serious danger of losing her title.
Round 2: We have a new champion. Holm could not have fought better than she did in that match, and she managed to do what no one else has ever done — knock out Rousey.
ESPN’s stats and info department provided some interesting numbers that explain Holm’s shocking win.

Round 2: Both fighters landed big blows in the second, but the challenger prevented three Jedrzejczyk kicks. It was a very even round.
Round 3: Jedrzejczyk landed multiple big kicks on Letourneau’s left leg, and she also connected on a kick right to the challenger’s face. It was the champion’s best round so far.
Round 4: The champion failed to capitalize on her performance in Round 3 for most of the fourth, although she did land some big rights in the closing seconds. This one is going to a final round.
Round 5: This one is heading to the judges, although there is little doubt who will win the match. The stat of the match was 60-9, which was the difference in leg strikes in favor of Jedrzejczyk. Many of those came in the fifth round, when she closed out the match.
Decision: Jedrzejczyk retains the UFC strawweight championship by unanimous decision.
