For the kids at Dana Farber and The Jimmy Fund, sometimes even a brief escape from their everyday reality makes a world of difference. Recognizing that, the Boston Red Sox gave them access to a very unique experience.
Using virtual reality goggles, kids experienced life at spring training with the Sox in Fort Myers, Fla. From stepping into the batter’s box against David Price’s fastball or doing so alongside David Ortiz, no stone was left unturned.
