Women's halfpipe silver medalist Hannah Teter feels strongly about Canada's annual seal slaughter, so much so that she supports a controversial PETA ad.

According to NBCSports.com, PETA submitted an ad to NBC to protest Canada's annual seal slaughter.

The 15-second spot depicts Vancouver Winter Olympic mascots Miga, Quatchi and Sumi as zombies on the hunt for seal meat.

NBC has rejected PETA's submission, and the ad has not aired on NBC or any other networks during the Winter Games.
