If Argentina wins the World Cup, head coach Diego Maradona will lose his clothes.
On Tuesday, Maradona said that if his team wins the World Cup, he will run naked through the middle of Buenos Aires, according to The Associated Press.
"If we win the World Cup, I'll get naked and run around the Obelisk," he said in a radio interview.
The 49-year-old, famous for scoring what was dubbed the "Hand of God" goal in the 1986 FIFA World Cup quarter-finals against England, is full of surprises. Just a few days earlier, The Sunday Times reported that Maradona will have premium toilet seats installed in the team’s living facility at the World Cup in South Africa next month.
Maradona made the comment after a 5-0 Argentina victory over Canada on Monday, Argentina’s final warm-up match before the World Cup.
The Gauchos will play in Group B, opening against Nigeria on June 12.
