The 36-hour broadcast will feature the amazing and compelling stories of Dana-Farber Institute patients, doctors, nurses, and researchers. The event will also include special celebrity guest appearances throughout the broadcast. Past celebrity guests have included David Cassidy, Lenny Clarke, Kelly Clarkson, Dane Cook, Terry Francona, Stephen King, Denis Leary, Jon Lester, Mike Lowell, Aaron Neville, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia, Donnie Wahlberg, and Tim Wakefield among others.
The radio-telethon will start at 6a ET on Thursday morning, and will run until midnight ET on Friday evening.
