NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. — The wife of former New England Patriots tight end Christian Fauria has been arrested on domestic assault charges.
The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro reports 37-year-old Rhonda Fauria was arrested after an incident on Tuesday morning at the couple's home in North Attleborough. A police report said Christian Fauria was scratched on his face and chest and had a bruise on his shin.
Rhonda Fauria – who police said is separated from her husband – pleaded not guilty to domestic assault.
Fauria played for the Patriots from 2002-2005. He also played for the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers. He's currently a football commentator on Boston radio and TV.
No telephone listing could be found for the Faurias and it wasn't known if Rhonda Fauria had an attorney.
