Ben Roethlisberger and Richard Seymour weren’t involved this time, but Week 12 of the NFL saw helmets and fists flying once again.
The biggest fight of the week took place in Houston, where Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson and Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan squared off early in the fourth quarter. The normally cool-and-collected Johnson became the latest victim of Finnegan’s notorious prodding, and both players were ejected from the Texans’ 20-0 win.
There were no punches thrown in the match-up between the Jets and Bengals, but Chad Ochocinco and Darrelle Revis jawed at each other all game. For the second time in their past two matchups, Ochocinco was stranded on “Revis Island,” and the Jets won, 26-10.
Donovan McNabb took another beating this week, but all hits on him were legal. The Redskins quarterback was sacked four times in Washington’s 17-14 loss to the Vikings, as Leslie Frasier won his first game as a head coach.
