Steve Johnson wanted to play the villain during Sunday’s Bills matchup against Batman (Terrell Owens), Robin (Chad Ochocinco) and the Bengals.

So Johnson did, invoking the Joker, Yahoo.com reports.

The third-year receiver wrote "Why so serious?" on his undershirt in black marker before the game. The quote refers to Heath Ledger character’s most famous words from The Dark Knight, and after scoring his first touchdown in the Bills’ 49-31 win, Johnson lifted his shirt to reveal the message.

At the time of the revelation, the Bills were still down 10 points. However, Johnson scored two more touchdowns and finished with eight catches for 137 receiving yards.

The NFL likely will fine Johnson for his celebration, but don’t expect the Bills’ wide receiver to regret his actions. He now has nine receiver touchdowns on the season to lead the Bills and has helped the team win two straight games.
