The Pearland Oilers offense looked completely out of sorts — standing around waiting for a play to be called, destined for a delay of game call.

They knew exactly what they were doing, and by playing possum, Pearland had managed to lull its opponent in the Texas state championship game, Trinity, to sleep.

Then, quarterback Trey Anderson sneakily took a quick snap and bombed it 54 yards for the streaking Sam Ukwauchu — touchdown.

That score proved to be the margin of victory, as Pearland won the title 28-24.
