Though things didn’t look too good earlier this week regarding Liverpool’s potential acquisition of Ajax striker Luis Suarez, things may have turned a bit.
According to the Daily Mail, a bid for the 23-year-old is imminent from Liverpool, and it could be at a discounted rate.
Ajax reportedly wants £28 million ($44.3 million) for Suarez, but given the team’s financial situation, a bid of almost half that may suffice.
Suarez indicated he’d prefer to play for Spurs, but the report said he may not fit their style.
