The Celtics were severely undermanned on Thursday night in Denver, playing their first game since a series of trades that jettisoned five players from their 15-man roster. They'll get a couple reserves on Saturday night.
Or in the case of Nenad Krstic, they'll get a starter.
Krstic, acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday along with Jeff Green for Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson, will make his debut on Saturday night against the L.A. Clippers. He'll be starting at center alongside the Celtics' four All-Stars; Green will come off the bench.
As for the Clippers, they're still waiting to unveil Mo Williams and Jamario Moon, acquired Wednesday in a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers. It's unclear whether Williams or Moon will play Saturday. Clips coach Vinny Del Negro has hinted that he might wait until after the weekend to mix the new guys in.
