The Lenox Hotel has been a partner of the Boston Marathon for years. Now, the hotel is adding another form of racing partner.
This October marks the 47th year of the Head of The Charles Regatta. The Regatta and Lenox Hotel annouced its partnership Wednesday, making Boston's original boutique hotel the official hotel of the storied race.
The racing takes place the weekend of October 22-23 and attracts over 9,000 rowers and 300,000 spectators along the banks of the Charles river.
From 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, fans can experience racing of all levels. The Regatta attracts youth, collegiate, masters, international, world champion and Olympic athletes who compete in over 55 different events.
