Rafael Nadal Defeats Roger Federer to Win Sixth French Open Championship (Photos) The "King of Clay" performed true to form on Sunday as Rafael Nadal continued his dominance at Roland Garros, defeating Roger Federer in four sets to win his sixth French Open championship.

To set up a showdown with Nadal, Federer had defeated Novak Djokovic in the semifinals, snapping Djokovic's 43-match winning streak, but he could not continue his success in the final.
