The USS Carl Vinson carried out the final aspect of bringing Osama bin Laden to justice — his burial at sea. Now, the U.S. Navy carrier will be the center of attention again.

This Veteran's Day, the carrier will most likely host an NCAA college basketball game between the University of North Carolina Tar Heels and the Michigan State Spartans, according to ESPN.com. Officials say it is all but certain at this point.

Mike Whalen, of the Morale Entertainment Foundation, ESPN, the Navy and vendors will meet at the ship Monday for a site survey.  Whalen said he's 99 percent sure the game will take place on the Carl Vinson after meetings with Washington, D.C., officials earlier this week, according to ESPN.

Two of the country's top men's basketball programs will be the first to play a game on a flat top. The ship can hold a court and fit 7,000 fans on its flight deck. The game can be moved below to the hangar deck if it rains.
