The case of a San Francisco Giants fan who was nearly beaten to death outside Dodger Stadium in April has two new suspects.

According to the Los Angeles Times, L.A. police have arrested two new suspects in the case of the beating of Bryan Stow. The original suspect in the case, Giovanni Ramirez, will reportedly be exonerated after being taken into custody in May.

"I haven't heard anything [about the new arrest] yet," Ramirez's attorney, Anthony Brooklier, told the Times. "But if it is true, I'm happy for my client. I always believed he was factually innocent. There was a lot of pressure on LAPD. I believe they were operating in good faith and made a good faith mistake."

Stow, who suffered brain damage in the attack, had emergency surgery performed earlier this week after suffering a seizure.
