Serena Williams might not be the highest-ranked tennis player in the world, but at 3-to-2, odds are in her favor as the U.S. Open commences. Still, other tennis stars aren't far behind her — mainly Maria Sharapova, whose odds are at 5-to-1.
Despite being currently ranked No. 1, Caroline Wozniacki's odds are 16-to-1, as are French Open-winner Li Na's. Petra Kvitova has the next-best odds after Sharapova, at 8-to-1.
It's probably going to be a little bit tougher for Serena's sister, Venus Williams, whose odds are 22-to-1. That's a far separation from the rest of the pack, though, where highly-ranked Jelena Jankovic's odds are 40-to-1 and Ana Ivanovic's odds are 66-to-1.
