Bruins fans may not be the biggest fans of Canucks star Ryan Kesler, but they're about to get up close and personal with Vancouver forward.
According to USA Today, Kesler is one of the many athletes featured in this year's edition of ESPN the Magazine's "Body Issue."
The third annual issue also features gymnast and Winchester, Mass., native Alicia Sacramone, as well as snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler, Team USA women's soccer goalie Hope Solo, NBA star and current FunnyOrDie.com intern Blake Griffin, Jose Reyes of the New York Mets, speedskater Apolo Ohno and the NFL's Steven Jackson.
The magazine, which hits newsstands Oct. 7, will also feature female athletes: Sylvia Fowles of the WNBA, LPGA rookie Belen Mozo, track and field star Natasha Hastings, hockey player Julie Chu, tennis player Vera Zvonareva, surfer Steph Gilmore, roller derby player Suzy Hotrod and bowler Kelly Kulick.
UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, IndyCar racer Helio Castroneves, boxer Sergio Martinez, marathoner Ryan Hall and paralympian Jeremy Campbell round out the male athletes.
Two years ago, Bruins captain Zdeno Chara took it off for the magazine's first issue.
