Rice Football Player Jayson Carter Stands in at 4-Foot-9, But Has ‘the Upper Hand’ (Video)

If you think Patriots running back Danny Woodhead looks small out there on the gridiron, just imagine a football player standing next to him that’s almost an entire foot shorter.

Rice football’s walk-on Jayson Carter, at 4-foot-9, 130-pounds, is 11 inches shorter than the 5-foot-8 Woodhead.

“All of my life I went against guys that are at least 70 pounds heavier than I am,” Carter told Fox’s Houston affiliate. “So it’s nothing I’m not used to.

“When they see me they’re like, ‘whoa what’s going on.’ That gives me the upper hand.”
