Lingerie Football League Offers ‘One Lucky Fan’ Chance to Tackle a Player at Lingerie Bowl IX

I don’t know about the rest of you, but nothing says “steamy night of romance” like decking a half-naked woman at midfield of a football game in front of at least a half-dozen fans.

Fortunately, the indisputably reputable Lingerie Football League is giving “one lucky fan” a chance to do just that at Lingerie Bowl IX.

(By the way, the LFL’s inaugural season was 2009, which means there have somehow been eight Lingerie Bowls in two seasons. Moving on…)

MTV, which is broadcasting the big game, is holding an online contest for the honor of hitting a woman. The prize includes round-trip airfare for two to Las Vegas, site of the Lingerie Bowl, two tickets to the game and hotel accommodations.

As the website With Leather quipped, “Has there ever been a more rapey sweepstakes prize?”

To be specific, the winner gets a “chance” to tackle an LFL player during halftime, which means she could conceivably elude the would-be tackler. Bummer.

The accommodations for the second person are probably unnecessary. Seriously, how does anybody invite a friend on a trip like this?

Weird guy: “Dude! I won a free trip to Vegas! Wanna go?”

Friend: “Yeah I do! How’d you win that?”

Weird guy: “I entered a contest and now I might get to tackle a member of the opposite sex! Score!”

Friend: “Uhh… I just remembered I have to clean out my gutters that weekend.”

But wait, there’s more.

The kicker is a “VIP experience” at Lingerie Bowl IX, which means no waiting in lines and “private meet and greets,” though it doesn’t say what people will be lining up for or who the winner will be meeting and greeting. There’s also a $250 gift card, which should last about half an afternoon at the Sands.

That said, enter here!
