The search for the next manager of the Red Sox continues as general manager Ben Cherington mulls over candidates.
A bevy of names have been mentioned in conjunction with the position, which has remained vacant since Terry Francona parted ways with the club on Sept. 30. Pete Mackanin and Dale Sveum have already met with management for interviews, and more prospective candidates are sure to follow.
