Sidney Crosby to Make Return to Penguins on Monday

Nearly a full year after he was taken off the ice for concussion-like symptoms, Sidney Crosby appears to be on his way back.

Crosby will return on Monday for the Penguins' game against the Islanders, the team announced on its website. It would be Crosby's first game action since taking head shots in back-to-back games in January.

Crosby, the 2007 NHL MVP, had been practicing since training camp but was cleared for contact only six weeks ago.
