Rob Gronkowski really hates wearing a shirt. He may also hate drinks, and reportedly disposed of one in a not-so-charitable manner at a recent fundraiser.
The tight end’s partying, which often ends in him shirtless, continued over the weekend, when Gronkowski ditched his shirt amidst a raucous scene at Royale in Boston as part of Zoltan Mesko‘s ZoliOke charity event.
Gronkowski also reportedly poured a drink on one woman who approached him during his dancing, drawing criticism from some bystanders on Twitter.
A video of the scene shows no such action by Gronkowski, but does show Gronk — who by that point was a sweaty mess — busting a few moves to Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe,” among other beats. Then, the shirt came off, although the party lived on.
Gronkowski was among the Patriots who participated in the karaoke event, and an auction was even held in which the highest bidder got to sing alongside Gronk. The Boston Herald reports that the winning bid was for $2,500, and a woman was on stage as Gronk sang LMFAO’s “Sexy and I know it.”
The Herald reports that Gronkowski “moved around on stage, swivelled his hips, and danced a bit as he sang,” although that seems to be a rather tame description. In any event, though, Gronk’s ankle appeared fine, which is all that really matters for the Patriots at the end of the day.
