NCAA Deals Penn State, Joe Paterno’s Legacy Latest Blow With Potentially Crippling Sanctions

It's not the death penalty, but it might as well be.

The NCAA took unprecedented measures on Monday morning when it came out swinging, handing out severe punishments for the Jerry Sandusky scandal and the attempted cover-up attempts. 

NCAA president Mark Emmert stated that he hoped the sanctions would help change the culture at Penn State, but judging by the initial reactions from a lot of Penn State students and alums, that change may take a while.
