Orioles Turn to Rally Caps, Magic Gatorade Bottles to Spur Rally in Extra Innings (Video)

"Orioles Magic" has been a catchphrase all season long for the O's, as the team has consistently found incredible ways to win close games time and time again. On Thursday night, that magic took a visible form, with the players willing themselves to score in the 13th inning of a must-win Game 4 against the Yankees.

After a leadoff double by rookie third baseman Manny Machado, starting pitcher Joe Saunders convinced his teammates to get their rally caps going. So, the players each took their hats and placed them on the dugout railing, pointing them towards the outfield wall, where they wanted the ball to go.

The ball obliged, as J.J. Hardy ripped a double to left-center, scoring Machado and spurring the O's to victory. Not content, the team then turned to shaking Gatorade bottles in the hopes of scoring some insurance.

It all paid off with a 2-1 win for Baltimore, setting up a winner-take-all Game 5 against the Yankees on Friday night. Check out the dugout antics from Game 4 in the video below.
