Major League Baseball to Use Mother’s Day Baseballs With Pink Stitching on Sunday (Photo)

Major League Baseball has used pink bats and batting gloves on Mother’s Day to raise awareness (and money) for breast cancer research. This year, the league will take the next logical step — and use pink baseballs, too.

Or at least baseballs with pink laces. This will mark the eighth year that the league has used pink-themed gear, but it will be a first for the balls, which also have pink lettering to go with the stitching.

The league is expected to auction off game-used items after Sunday’s game, so the balls are sure to be collector’s items come Monday morning. Check out a photo of the new balls below.
